Google Home Integration
Connect your EasyRoll blind to Google Home to operate it by "Hey Google" voice from your Google Nest speaker or Android phone.
What You'll Need
- An account with your blind registered in the EasyRoll app (Register Device completed)
- The Google Home app installed on your smartphone + signed in with your Google account
Connecting (One-Time Setup)
- Google Home app → [+] button in the top right → [+ Device]
- At the bottom of the QR code scan screen, tap [+ Add another way] → search for "EasyRoll" under Search for a brand or device
- Log in with your EasyRoll account → allow the connection
- Once your registered blinds appear in Google Home, assign them to a room (living room, etc.) and you're done!
How You Can Use It
| Method | Example |
|---|---|
| Voice commands | "Hey Google, open the living room blind" / "Close the blind" / "Set the blind to 50%" |
| Google Home app | Open/close and adjust position from the device card |
| Routines | Open the blinds in a "Good morning" routine, close them in a bedtime routine, etc. |
When Things Don't Work
| Symptom | Solution |
|---|---|
| EasyRoll doesn't appear in search | Update the Google Home app to the latest version and try again |
| Connected but the device doesn't show | First check in the EasyRoll app that the blind is properly registered and online |
| Voice commands don't respond | Check the device name (the name you call it in Google Home) — we recommend a short, easy-to-say name |
| It doesn't operate | Check that the blind is online (FAQ) → disconnect the link and reconnect |
